Phooey Farms

Project Type
Rebrand

Year
Spring 2023

This project’s intended outcome was to select a company and create a complete rebrand for them, consisting of a logo, website, stationary set, and one other touch point at my own discretion all wrapped into a branding guidelines presentation.

Phooey Farms is a family owned store local to my hometown of Ashtabula, Ohio and located in a prime spot within the Historic Ashtabula Harbor. The owners are Michelle and JJ DelPriore—wonderful and ambitious people I have known since my time in high school.

Their store is dedicated to providing a variety of services which includes:

  • in-house baked breads made daily on a weekly schedule

  • offerings for cooked fresh subs and sandwiches

  • handmade soaps, spices, oils, sauces, etc.

  • providing booth space to other locally owned business’s to sell through their storefront

  • locally harvested fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses

When setting out to create their new branding, I wanted their branding to feel handmade, fresh, and warm in the same way their store and products make you feel every time you visit—A vibrant and warm color palette, a hand drawn logo with a friendly sanserif font, a website that showcases their breads and food offerings, product packaging that invites shoppers to interact and an overall feel that when you see Phooey Farms branding, you can trust you’re in good hands.
